"The month long internship by Indian Road Safety Campaign was such a beautiful memory I will cherish forever. All the four phases helped me gain immense knowledge in various aspects. There was a constant guidance and support from NSS team not only during the internship but even after that also. Presenting the reports in front of experienced people on a platform like Kaizen was totally a amazing experience which helped increase my self-confidence. With the motive of creating impact, bringing a change, I participated in this internship and seeing the bright future of this project I am proud of my decision. Sometime small steps taken in a positive direction form the stepping stones to a big change later. This is something that NSS has taught me with this internship and I salute NSS for their efforts in Road Safety. "

"I have been interested in road safety and traffic rules since my childhood days. The whole idea to learn from the pioneers in this field exhilarated me. There are a lot of road safety problems around us but hardly anyone cares to ponder over it. My interest in road safety initiated me to pursue an intern under Indian Road Safety Campaign. The internship has been an enriching experience for me throughout. The most wonderful thing was to look into the traffic problem which everyone had been facing for years, analyzing it in detail from all perspectives, surveying crowds of people about the same and then coming to a feasible solution after rounds of brainstorming keeping all the stakeholders in mind. Then came the real task : approaching the police authorities to suggest about that major traffic problem and proposing my solution. My happiness knew no bounds when my solution was accepted by the authorities after rounds of discussion and improvements. This internship has brought a very major change in me. My view point got diversified , I got to know about various opinions prevailing in society, interacting with the crowd gave me loads of confidence. The real learning took place when I reached the authorities and urged them to look into the problem and my solution to tackle it. At every stage , people appreciated my effort as I was doing something beneficial for the society at such a tender age which gave me a lot of motivation and confidence and helped me deliver my best. I thank Indian Road Safety Campaign for providing me with this lovely opportunity for which I can never thank them enough as this has built a very integral part of me. "

"It was my best experience to do road Safety internship. It was my great experience and along with this I had enjoyed alot. What my internship is about the railroad Crossing problem where people have to wait alot and then railroad crossing gate are opened then the traffic seems to be taraffic and minor accidents occur there. I am the also one who suffered the same problem so I worked on this and during this I learnt alot of things like how to talk people as I talked to people in survey, then general things about under bridge and over bridge and many other rules. It was a great experience to talk with higher authorities. it's a very great experience and it was a good time and I was very very happy during this time when I was talking to authorities. I am glad that I did this internship and gained a great experience."
